The very eloquent Jeffrey Simpson, columnist for the Globe and Mail, gave a very interesting and almost scientific talk about climate change and its challenges and consequences if Canada does not act on this. He also spoke about the challenges facing Canadian Tourism from the high loonie to the passport issues to America's political environment. He did mention, what he called "the Hillary Factor" in terms of Senator Clinton and her husband's knowledge about Canada and that if she were to be elected President of the United States, then maybe (but not for sure) Canada might have a more receptive ear in the White House going forward.Cheers,
