Seeing Canada One Day at a Time
The ultimate road trip for a dying Canadian in "One Week to Live" should inspire all Canadians to get out and see Canada. Instead of heading to Southern destinations for the annual March or Spring Break, take that special road trip you have been avoiding. See Toronto Star Review on One Week to Live.
With March Break just around the corner, one can quickly see spring start to bloom in many parts of Canada-- Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Brithish Columbia, however a March Break week may be a bit too short to travel across country, so best to see March Break in Ontario....there is more than enough to see.
After all, as the German tourists in the Movie said, Canada is the most beautiful Country in the world.........who can disagree? Get out and taste the Maple Syrup this March Break.

Maple Syrup--Canadian Culture or Outdoor Getaway???
How many categories or nice markets would a trip to a maple syrup sugar shack or maple syrup festival cover in our plethora of market segments used to excite visitors either within Canada or new visitors to Canada? Is it agri-touirsm, eco-tourism, cultural tourism, adventure tourism, culinary tourism, medical tourism (medicinal tourism), or just plain outdoor family fun. The Photo shows a family gathered around making maple snow taffy on spring day in Haliburton, Ontario. Do you think they are thinking which market segment they belong to? However, what motivated this family to indulge in a classical Canadian experience. One of the challenges when trying to segment markets is the perception of where it fits in the consumers mind, and the marketers job to interpret the message and give it back to the consumer in the form of meaningful understanding messages. See Maple Syrup In Canada
One to the challenges for a tourism marketer is not to be overwhelmed by all of the so called niche markets--but to pick and choose the right messages for the right market.
